He is the first practicing Consultant Cardio-Physician and Intensivist of Ahmednagar district started his career in Evangeline Booth Hospital, Ahmednagar in 1979.

Started the First ever Coronary Care, Critical Care and Trauma Unit of Ahmednagar District, in 1979.

In Private Practice since 1981.

Started DEEPAK HOSPITAL, the best of its kind in the entire Ahmednagar District with a fully equipped ICCU and Critical Care setup , including Monitoring, Dfib and Pacemaker facility and Computerized Stress Testing.

Started 2D Echocardiography in 1986 and gradually upgraded the modality to its current level over the years.

Participated in Specialised training and workshops related to Advancements in Cardiology with Critical Care and Advanced Echocardiography,at Texas Heart Institute, Houston , USA , at Northwick Park Hospital , under Dr. Roxy Senior and at JROP,New Delhi
